Welcome to Survival Arena, a strategic card battle game that relies on resource management and attack timing. You enter the battle with a specific health pool, and your only goal is to remain the last fighter standing after eliminating all rivals.
First: Battle Basics
1. Mana
Every card in the game requires a specific amount of Mana to be played. Your Mana pool starts low and automatically increases at the beginning of each new turn. Mana management is the core of the game; depleting it early might leave you defenseless, while saving it allows for powerful plays later.
2. Health and Shield
The game starts with 30 Health Points (HP). You can protect yourself using cards that grant “Shield”.
When receiving normal damage, the Shield takes the hit first.
If the Shield is depleted, the opponent starts damaging your base HP.
Beware of attacks that deal “True Damage”, as they bypass the Shield and hit your HP directly.
Second: Deck & Graveyard System
It is crucial to understand how your card deck works to ensure your survival in battle:
Deck Composition: Your deck consists of 20 unique cards, each duplicated once (x2), making a total of 40 cards.
The Graveyard: Any card you play leaves your hand and goes directly to the “Graveyard”.
Recycling: If your deck runs out of cards, you are not helpless! You can use a special Item called “Recycle”. This item allows you to retrieve a card (not an item) from the Graveyard to reuse it.
Third: Cards vs. Items (The Core Difference)
A key mechanic is distinguishing between regular Cards and purchased Items. Both function similarly in effect but differ in cost and power:
Cards: These are your standard cards drawn from your deck (the 40 cards). Playing them consumes your Mana.
Items: These are distinct, powerful tools with special properties:
Purchase via Coins: You cannot draw them; you must buy them from the Shop using collected Coins.
Zero Mana Cost: Using an Item during battle consumes 0 Mana.
Usage Limit: Due to their power, you are allowed to use only two items per turn.
Fourth: Shop & Smart Inventory
During gameplay, you will find the “Shop” option in the menu. You can spend your coins to buy:
Class Items: Special tools available only for your current class.
General Items: Useful tools (like Recycle) that any class can use.
Smart Item Filtering
When you open your “Special Items” list during battle, the system automatically filters your inventory. You will only see items compatible with your current class (Class Items + General Items). If you own items purchased previously for other classes, they remain in your inventory but are hidden for this match to prevent errors.
Fifth: Targeting & Attack System
Attack targeting varies based on the card type and the number of players:
1vs1 (You & One Opponent): When playing a single-target attack card, the system automatically targets the opponent to speed up gameplay.
Multiplayer (3+ Players): When playing a single-target card, a list of opponents will appear for you to choose your victim.
Target Types:
Single Enemy: Targets one specific player.
All Enemies: A powerful card hitting all opponents in the arena simultaneously.
Random: Hits one random enemy chosen by the system.
Self: Affects you personally (e.g., Heal or Shield).
Sixth: Classes
Knight: Known for defensive durability. Strategy relies on stacking Shields, constant self-healing, and dealing direct, stable damage.
Demon: High-risk, high-reward. Uses “Lifesteal” to heal from opponents’ blood, but some powerful cards may cost health to use.
Wizard: Master of control and Area of Effect (AOE). Possesses spells that hit all enemies at once and can Freeze opponents.
Shadow: Relies on cunning and gradual draining. Uses Poisons that damage the enemy over time and focuses on quick attacks.
Seventh: Battle Effects
Freeze: Freezes the opponent, preventing them from playing any card in their next turn.
Poison: Infects the opponent, dealing automatic damage at the start of their turn for several rounds.
Weaken: Reduces the opponent’s attack power by a certain percentage, making their hits less effective.
Reflect: Activates a magic shield that reflects incoming damage back to the attacker.
