Game Objective
The main objective is to reach the End Line, which is determined by the table host (starting from 300 squares or more). The first player to cross the end line wins the game and is the sole survivor.
Gameplay Mechanics
1. The Player's Turn
- Starting Point: All players start with a head start, beginning the game from square 30.
- On your turn, you roll a standard 6-sided die (1 to 6) to advance on the track.
- Custom Dice: You can purchase a custom die from the store to manually pick your roll outcome during critical moments.
2. The Bear's Turn (The Chase)
After all alive players have completed their turn, it's the bear's turn to move and hunt based on these rules:
- Starting Point: The bear starts its hunt from square 0 (30 squares behind the players).
- Bear's Energy: The bear has an "energy" level that starts at 1.
- Bear's Movement: The bear rolls a 3-sided die (1 to 3). Total movement = Dice Roll + Current Energy Level.
- Example: If the bear's current energy is (2), and it rolls a (3), it will move 5 steps (3 from the die + 2 from energy).
- Energy Increase: If the bear rolls a 3, its energy increases by 1, making it faster and more dangerous in the upcoming rounds.
- Elimination (Eating Players): If the bear lands on or passes the square you are standing on, you are eaten and eliminated from the game.
- Satiation: When the bear eats a player, its energy decreases by 3 levels (but it never drops below 1).
Random Card System
If your current position on the track is a multiple of 5 (e.g., square 35, 40, 45, 50, etc.), you will be given an extra choice: "Draw Card". You are not forced to do this; you can choose to roll the dice normally, or try your luck by drawing a card. Once you select to draw a card, you will automatically move forward 3 steps, and then the card's effect will activate:
- Impulsion: You move an extra 3 steps forward.
- Super Impulsion: You move an extra 5 steps forward.
- Backward Push: You are pushed 5 steps backward (closer to the bear!).
- Random Gift: You move randomly either forward or backward by 1 to 6 steps.
- Tiredness: Decreases the bear's energy by 1 to slow it down.
- Hunger: Increases the bear's energy by 1, making it faster.
Winning and Losing Rules
- Victory: The first player to cross the designated End Line wins the game.
- All Dead (No Winner): The game ends immediately with everyone losing if the bear manages to eat all players before any of them cross the end line.
