UNO is a fun and exciting group card game suitable for 2 to 10 players, requiring quick thinking and clever strategy to win.
🎯 Game Objective
The main objective is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards. Points are calculated from the remaining cards held by opponents, and play continues over several rounds until one of the players reaches the agreed-upon point limit.
⚙️ Game Settings
Before the game starts, you can configure the following settings:
- Choose the final score target (Max Score)
- Set a turn timer before the turn passes automatically
- Choose to play in Mode One or Mode Two
Gameplay Mechanics
1. Dealing Cards
- Each player starts with 7 cards
- The remaining cards are placed as the Draw Pile
- One card is revealed face-up on the table to start
2. Taking a Turn
- On each turn, the player must play one card from their hand that matches the face-up card:
- Either the same color (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue)
- Or the same number/symbol
- If they have no matching card, they draw one card from the Draw Pile
- If the drawn card is playable, they may play it immediately
- If not, they keep it and the turn passes to the next player
3. Special Cards
- Skip: Skips the next player's turn
- Reverse: Reverses the direction of play (from clockwise to counter-clockwise and vice versa)
- Draw Two (+2): The next player draws two cards and loses their turn
- Wild: The player chooses the color that must be played next
- Wild Draw Four (+4): Like "Wild" but the next player draws 4 cards and loses their turn (can only be used if you have no card matching the previous card's color)
4. Saying "UNO"
When a player has only one card left, they must say "UNO" out loud. If they fail to do so and are caught before the next turn begins, they draw two cards as a penalty.
